Well, it's official, Kamden graduated from Kindergarten on May 31st, 2013 and will be starting 1st Grade in the fall.
He had such a great year and we really loved his teacher, they even spent the last several days of school "camping".
Their classroom was filled with tents and each child brought a sleeping bag & they spent their afternoons going on hikes, roasting marshmallows, & getting mosquito bites from red washable markers.

On Thursday Kamden came home from school and plopped down on the couch, hardly moving until he sat up and puked all over.
I hurried over and helped him up and he puked again, so I scooped him up and hurried for the bathroom while he proceeded to barf into my hands and all over the bathroom floor.
He said they had carrots and marshmallows for snack that day.
From the looks of things I probably would've guessed that, but I'm no detective.
So that was fun, cleaning up is always the worst but luckily we had the warranty on our couch & they came & cleaned it up.
But the next day was the last day of school and the afternoon Kindergarteners were allowed to ride the bus in the morning and bring a sack lunch. He'd been looking forward to riding the bus to school all week, but we kept him home for the morning just to be safe. We went to the school in time for the Kindergarten music program and graduation and the entire time while I watched him jump and dance and sing, I prayed that he wouldn't barf all over the two unfortunate girls standing on the risers in front of him.
Luckily we made it through without any pukage and he received his Graduation Certificate and then it was time for the family picnic and summer was officially underway.
Some great things that Kamden has accomplished in Kindergarten are:
Improving his writing and reading.
He worked really hard in Speech and is doing awesome with his "K" and "G" sounds!
He made so many friends and his teacher always had so many compliments about how all of the kids just loved Kamden, that he was a great helper and followed directions well.
He loved music and PE, and also Library and Computers.
His most favorite parts about Kindergarten were snack time and recess, though.
Kamden has also lost 2 teeth in the past week, he spends so much time wiggling those things that I'm wondering if they are loose to begin with or if he causes them to fall out just so the Tooth Fairy will stop by.
Since he will be in 1st Grade next year he is so excited to ride the bus in the mornings, but I'm not sure he understands that means he'll have a longer day than what he's used to. He is also looking forward to eating lunch at school and they even had a practice lunch the last week of school.
Hard to believe my little Babe is gROWING up so quickly!
