Weeks of Summer: Part 6

 We came home from Burley on Sunday. The following Monday evening we did yard work and it proved too much for Olivia. She fell asleep on the front lawn.

Here are a few random photos of her from the last few days:

 Saturday, July 12 was my Dad's birthday so to celebrate we spent the afternoon at the reservoir boating and playing in the sand.

 Grandpa got this contraption for the kiddos to learn how to ski, he spent a good chunk of time pulling them up and down the bank before Ethan & Kamden tried it behind the boat.

 Owen found a little fish friend that he helped out by pulling it's gills...he wasn't very happy when I told him we couldn't keep it.

Instead we dug a hole and buried the poor little guy.

Then we went to my parents' house and had a BBQ along with homemade ice cream.

Weeks of Summer: Part 5--Happy 4th of July!

 We spent the week of Independence Day in Burley where Jeff worked before we spent the weekend at a family reunion. We stayed in a hotel for the first few days and the boys had a great time swimming. We got to watch fireworks twice and had a wienie roast with cousins. For some reason, Jeff ended up wearing the same helmet & goggles Kamden had on when riding Coltin's 4wheeler.

 Jeff also came up with a sporty uniform along with his youngest brother, Brian, for the family soccer game.

 We spent a day at the river and the kids all loved the bouncy house and playing in grandpa's backyard pond. We had a fun, busy week and enjoyed the time we were able to spend with family.

Weeks of Summer: Part 3

 On Monday, June 30th we went to Roaring Springs water park with my parents.

Ethan & Kamden had free passes from school for reading 600 minutes and it was 1/2 off day if you were accompanied by a child.

You can't beat a deal like that!
Except it was scorching hot and that means that everyone else had the same idea...so it was crowded and the lines were long for slides, but we still had a fun day.

 Olivia and I spent most of the day in the shade, though I did do a tube slide with Jeff & Ethan and the Lazy River a few times with Owen & Kamden.

 Owen couldn't be convinced to go down the racing slide with Jeff & the boys, though.

So we watched and cheered from the sidelines.
