Weeks of Summer: Part 2

On Friday we celebrated my youngest brother & niece's birthday at a park where we played tennis. It has become one of our favorite things to do as a family, the boys even enjoy it.
The boys have one more flag football game this Saturday & then we're done! It's been fun but we did 5 weeks of soccer and then headed straight into 5 weeks of football. It'll be nice to be able to sleep in on Saturdays again! Owen decided he was done and didn't even play last week. We'll see how it goes this Saturday. There are trophies and cupcakes involved so he might be persuaded.
After football we relaxed at home for a bit before going to play tennis on our way to our niece Everly's birthday party.
It got pretty hot so we went swimming before it was time to go celebrate.
Jeff has been in Spokane the past few days so we've gone to the pool with friends where Olivia napped in the wagon:
Kamden used his Fritos as Vampire fangs before we went to my mom's where we made raspberry jam.
And today we went to a movie, had a picnic in the park, & stopped by the Library on our way home.

4 Months!

Miss Olivia was 4 Months on Tuesday, June 17th. At her check-up she weighed 14 pounds even and was 25 inches tall.
She is cooing, gurgling and talking all the time and let's us know when she's not getting enough attention.
She rolls over from her back to her tummy but isn't very happy once she accomplishes this.
Olivia absolutely loves to be outside and she gets super excited when we turn on the bath water and she knows it's bath time!
She is getting more interested in toys and sounds, but if someone sneezes or clears their throat and only makes one sound she usually gets scared and cries.
She also gets scared when she doesn't recognize people.
She is growing too fast!

SCHOOL'S OUT, SCREAM & SHOUT!!! Weeks of Summer: Part 1

It's SUMMER!!
Ethan & Kamden's last day of school was Wednesday, June 4th and we went to the family picnic and then headed to the pool. We've been spending a lot of time swimming and Owen is getting pretty brave by venturing out into the deep end.
Olivia likes hanging out poolside with Momma:
 Kamden grew a summer 'stache:
Ethan went to Day Camp for Scouts last week and his favorite parts were BB Gun shooting and Archery.
We walked the Greenbelt and the MK Nature center last week also. Here are my cute little owlets:
Olivia will be 4 months old tomorrow and she thinks she is big enough to be rolling over.

She also enjoys soaring through the sky.
You want to squeeze those adorable cheeks, don't you?
One evening we were relaxing in the backyard and Owen made me some yummy dinner.
I think it was sushi of some sort.
And here is the view I had from the treadmill one evening:
Owen even rode a bike for the first time a few weeks ago. He's been working on learning how to pedal since he's never tried before and spent an afternoon cruising around the neighborhood.
Last week we had our nephew Vaughn stay a few days with us.
We went to the zoo:
Played video games:
  Here's Vaughn's way of watching a movie:
And cheered the boys on at their football games. We had a great time and we sure love that little Vaughn-ster!
We attempted the Bumbo with Olivia for the first time on Saturday:
And just try and resist that face:
We went to my parents' house for a Father's Day BBQ and enjoyed fresh peas from their garden along with homemade ice cream!
I am so thankful for an amazing husband who is a wonderful father to our 4 beautiful children. He is my best friend, our provider, and a great strength to me.
We love you!
