I'm going to have to play catch-up in this post because I'm several weeks behind on our summer adventures.
On Friday, June 21st our niece
Everly Sue
was born, and she is the sweetest little thing. I even got to spend an entire day hanging out with her and her momma, Charly, a week after she was born.
Since she was in the NICU for a bit, I went and saw her on Saturday and Jeff & the boys went back with me on Sunday after she had been released and was in the room with her parents. The boys absolutely love her and are so excited for a brand new cousin.
The boys have been spending some afternoons building Legos and making ships:
Once we spent the ENTIRE day building a city for the cars from the Disney movie, Cars.
We built a Sheriff's station, Ramone's paint shop, Flo's V8 Cafe, a car wash, a race track, a mechanic shop for Doc, and a junkyard for Mator.
The boys played with it for DAYS.
One morning I woke up to this:
Ethan & Kamden were watching cartoons and had a nice little set up with TV trays and breakfast. Just eatin' cereal in their undies.
When it's hot and miserable outside and we are just relaxing at home, sometimes the boys think the furniture is suitable for acrobatics.
One day the boys all went home with Grandpa after work and stayed the night while Jeff & I went to the temple. The boys had a great time and chased butterflies through the garden and around the yard with their new nets Grandma got them.
We've gone to a few movies since they are $1 at Edwards two mornings a week and the boys just had to have their picture on the giant Turbo snail before we went in.
We spent the week of the 4th on the road, first to Pocatello where the boys swam for days and days...
And here are a few random pictures I found on my phone from the hotel:
We saw the movie Epic and DespicableMe2
and on the 4th we drove to Idaho Falls to watch the Fireworks then spent the rest of the weekend in Declo for a family get together with Jeff's parents and brothers, nieces and nephews.
I forgot my camera and have no pictures of the weekend, so you'll have to believe me when I say that we had a great time and thanks to Brian & Sierra for all their hard work and planning!
