Ethan had a great time making his Bronco semi truck for his first Pinewood Derby. The race was last night and each of the Cub Scouts got a Pit Pass to sit on the sidelines of the track and watch their cars up close.
The semi had a heavy load and usually came in 2nd or a close 3rd, but Ethan had a lot of fun watching and cheering for everyone.
They had concessions where we could use our tickets to get popcorn, treats, and homemade rootbeer while we watched.
This being our first Pinewood Derby we picked up a few tips and pointers on achieving a faster, more aerodynamic car for next time, but Ethan was happy and had fun and even received the "Bronco" award at the end of the night.
