The Barber

About a week ago Ethan and Owen both got haircuts. Kamden didn't need one except to trim around his ears and neck. This wasn't good enough for him, he was feeling left out and cried about it for a good half hour.
How does one go about solving such a problem?
By taking matters into your own hands, of course. He went into the bathroom and got his hair wet before combing it, then took the scissors to it. Right down the middle, smack-dab in the front of his head.
Jeff came out and asked if I had told Kamden he could cut his own hair...I'm not sure why he thought I would ever tell a 6 year old he could do such a thing but no, he didn't have permission.
I walked into the bathroom unsure of what I would find and I had to bite my lip to stop from laughing. That dang kid was so proud of himself I couldn't get upset. So instead I just told Jeff I was going running and headed out the door. When I got home, this is what my Babe looked like:
It was as if he'd grown up in the matter of an hour and he had hardly any hair. You can still see how uneven it is in the front where he cut it shorter than Jeff buzzed it.
I call him my Bald Eagle and he thinks it's the funniest thing when we pretend we don't know who he is and ask where all of his hair went. He said that now he looks like Grandpa Stoker because he doesn't have any hair.
But he's still pretty cute!
